Main St Streetscape Phase IV - Notice of Land Surveying Work To Be Performed

Horrocks Engineers, Inc. will be performing a right-of-way survey along the NM 313/Camino del Pueblo roadway corridor between Lucero Ave and Calle Don Pedro in June/July of this year in support of the Town of Bernalillo’s “Main St Streetscape, Phase IV” project.  Surveyors will be working within the corridor during this time period.  In accordance with the Minimum Standards for Surveying in New Mexico, Horrocks field personnel will require access to the privately owned parcels adjacent to NM 313 within the project limits to survey the property lines that intersect the NM 313 right-of-way.  Section 61-23-30 of the NM Engineering & Surveying Practice Act provides surveyors right of entry on public and private property for purpose of making surveys, inspections, examinations, and maps, subject to responsibility for actual damage to crops or other property or for injuries resulting from negligence or malice caused on account of that entry.  Horrocks field personnel will be wearing high visibility safety vests with Horrocks name/logo on the back.  Horrocks field personnel will make a good faith effort to identify themselves to landowners/tenants before performing any work on private property.  See the contact information below for any questions/comments specifically related to the surveying component of this project.
