What We Do 

The Town of Bernalillo Fire and Rescue Department is committed to providing high-quality and professional fire and EMS services to its diverse population.  We are a professionally trained safety enforcement agency providing 24 hours, 365 days of public safety services.

Our mission shall be to protect the lives and property within the Town and surrounding communities.

How We Respond

The department balances quick and safe responses to all fire, EMS, and hazardous material incidents. All members of the Town of Bernalillo Fire and Rescue Department are committed to service with professionalism, respect, and concern for the community. Current and future generations of firefighters are duty-bound to uphold the level of public trust we created through experience and professionalism. 

Our Fire Stations

We operate career staff on 48-hour shifts from our 2 Fire Stations. They are located at 829 Camino Del Pueblo and 1101 Montoya Rd in Bernalillo. We respond to over 2500 emergency calls per year utilizing partnerships with surrounding fire departments.
