$450.00 Fee for Non-Bernalillo Residents

Children ages 5-12

5&6 yrs. – Yellow Group
7&8 – Purple Group
9&10 – Red/Green Group
11&12 – Blue Group


-Registration is based on specific age group availability and will prioritize Town of Bernalillo residents.
-Registration will be conducted in two separate parts consisting of Pre-Registration/Lottery enrollment and Final
Program Registration.
-All interested participants first enroll for the lottery, resident and non-resident alike.
-All lottery participants will be contacted as to their selection to register or placement on a waiting list once the
lottery has been conducted.
-Lottery will only be used if pre-registration interest requires.

Pre-Registration Dates – Monday, May 2 – Friday, May 13, 2022, 8:00am to 5:00pm

-Pre-Registration is done in person at the Town of Bernalillo Recreation Center. 
-Pre-Registration serves as inclusion in the Lottery.
-Each age group will have its own Lottery based on Pre-Registration information, and each age group will be further
broken down into two separate lotteries for residents and non-residents.
-Proof of residency will be required when pre-registering. Two CURRENT forms of proof will be required.
       -Mortgage bill/statement or renter’s agreement
       -Valid state issued ID
       -Utility bill
       -The Town of Bernalillo Recreation Department will have access to Town of Bernalillo water, sewer, and trash 
services information for internal verification of residency.

        *Commercial properties are not considered when determining residency*
-The Lottery will be conducted on Monday May 16, 2022.
*Those interested in registering after missing the Pre-Registration period will be placed behind the non-resident waiting list.

May 16, 2022 – May 27, 2022

-If your child has been selected to register, you will be contacted to do so on May 16, 2022.
-You will have until May 27, 2022 to compete the registration process, or lose your spot.
-Vacant spots will be filled using the waiting lists based on residency.


- Camp Coronado will follow current health orders, mandates, and recommendations issued by the State of New
Mexico, and are subject to change as health orders change.

- Most of the day’s activities will be take place outdoors.
- Frequent rotation from one area to another.
- Areas and equipment fogged with disinfectant between use.
- Frequent hand washing with soap and water, and use of hand sanitizer.
- Participants and staff will work together to clean and disinfect commonly used equipment.
- Emphasis on maintaining safe distances from one another, and not touching others.
- All unnecessary personal items left at home, such as toys, balls, blankets, or electronics.
       o No sharing of personal items
       o Bring personal refillable water bottle each day

Participants must be signed in and signed out by a parent, or adult designated by the parent. Participants are not allowed to sign themselves in or out.

Sign in and sign out will be conducted outdoors, unless weather does not permit. Parent is to complete the daily questionnaire when signing in each day.

Sign in is from 8:00AM to 8:30AM daily. Late arrivals will not be allowed unless prior arrangements have been made with staff.

Sign out is from 3:30PM to 4:00PM daily. Early sign outs will not be allowed unless prior arrangements have been made with staff

All groups are considered closed between the hours of 8:30AM and 3:30PM.

Daily activities will include sports, arts and crafts, social games, and other recreational activities. All daily activities will take place in and around the Recreation Center, outdoor fields and parks, and the Roosevelt property. General activities will not be listed on the activities calendar.

A bi-weekly calendar will be issued every other week. This calendar will list any special events or special activities, field trips, water play dates, swimming, and will include information concerning location of sign in and sign out for each group. It may also contain information about the need to dress a certain way, or bring a change of clothes.
